Assistant Manager - Compliance | Colombo 07 Duties & Responsibilities Ensure compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are effectively communicated and understood across all levels of the Company, thereby strengthening the overall compliance culture. Monitor regulatory and compliance developments, disseminate relevant information across the organization, assess their impact on business operations, and facilitate the implementation of necessary regulatory requirements. Support management in promoting and maintaining staff compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Conduct Departmental Compliance Verification reviews in accordance with the Risk-Based Approach and the approved Annual Compliance Plan. Develop, review, and enhance departmental policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and minimize the risk of non-compliance. Establish, implement, and oversee appropriate procedural controls to effectively identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate compliance risks across the organization. Identify, investigate and resolve non-compliant activities within the organization. Attributes & Qualifications Have a bachelor's degree in Business Management or Finance or the equivalent degree from a recognized University. Have extensive managerial experience with good performance record on Compliance Functions minimum 5years of experience in Finance or Banking Industry Excellent teamwork in harnessing the potential of the team Have an excellent Communication skills of the English Language both in written and verbale form.
