Executive - Taxation We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Finance team as an Executive - Taxation. The ideal candidate will support the Group's tax compliance and advisory functions while ensuring adherence to Sri Lankan tax regulations and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and verify tax computations and statutory payments (VAT, NBT, and other applicable taxes) for assigned Group companies. Ensure timely and accurate tax filings in compliance with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) regulations. Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department to resolve tax-related queries and support tax assessments when required. Prepare quarterly tax compliance reports for Group companies and monitor statutory compliance. Assist in developing and implementing Group tax planning initiatives to maximize tax efficiencies. Conduct tax compliance reviews and audits across Group companies. Analyze IRD assessments and assist in preparing appeals where necessary. Skills and Experience Required Minimum 2 years' experience in taxation, tax compliance, or tax advisory. Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan tax legislation and its practical application. Full or Part qualification from a recognized tax institution in Sri Lanka (e.g., CA Sri Lanka or the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Sri Lanka) is preferred. Alternatively, part qualification in AAT, CA, or an equivalent professional qualification. Hands-on experience with IRD RAMIS, including tax computations and return submissions. Ability to interpret tax regulations, prepare tax computations, and provide practical tax advice. Experience in reviewing IRD assessments and drafting tax appeals.
