Finance & Accounts Executive

Finance & Accounts Executive Galileo Ventures (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and responsible Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling financial information and company records. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records. Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment processing. Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly financial reports. Record daily transactions and maintain supporting documentation. Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis. Support the preparation of tax, audit, and statutory compliance documents. Safeguard confidential financial, employee, customer, and company information. Ensure all financial transactions and records are handled with honesty, integrity, and discretion. Coordinate with external auditors, banks, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned. Requirements A relevant accounting qualification such as AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka will be an advantage. 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience. Good knowledge of accounting principles and Sri Lankan tax regulations. Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, reliability, and attention to detail. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
