Marine Officer We are seeking a highly competent and safety-focused Marine Officer to support and coordinate marine operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in marine safety, offshore operations, vessel management, and commercial support activities, contributing to the continued success and growth of the business. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate marine operational activities. Oversee vessel safety and offshore operations. Plan and manage Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer operations. Ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, HSSE, and other maritime regulations. Act as Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and support vessel security activities. Overlook marine crew placing and management. Support business development and customer relationship management. Maintenance of the boats, Certification, surveys. Skills and Experience Required Master Mariner Class I qualification (STCW compliant). Sailing experience as a Chief Mate or in a higher senior maritime position. Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and vessel management. Experience in marine operations and STS transfers. Knowledge of statutory, classification, and flag state requirements. Familiarity with Sri Lankan maritime regulations. Good computer literacy and systems knowledge. Proficiency in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
