Senior Administrator – Azure, Cloud Security & Palo Alto Firewall

Overview of the Role As a Senior Administrator – Azure & Cloud Security, Palo Alto Firewall, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding enterprise cloud environments and ensuring operational excellence. This role is instrumental in maintaining the security posture of our organization and delivering advanced technical support by leveraging expertise in Azure Security, Palo Alto solutions, and cloud security best practices. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, security, and customer satisfaction levels of HCLTech’s global operations. Detailed Responsibilities Provide advanced technical support for Azure Security and Palo Alto Firewall solutions, troubleshooting and resolving complex security incidents while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough root cause analysis for escalated technical and security issues; implement effective resolutions to mitigate risks and enhance system reliability. Maintain and update the internal knowledge base, contribute to developing best practices, and deliver training or coaching to new team members and analysts to foster continuous improvement. Resolve complex support tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and a robust security posture. Drive exceptional customer experiences by achieving high first-call resolution rates, minimizing rejected resolutions and case reopenings, and proactively addressing emerging security threats. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud and network security to continuously elevate the organization’s defense strategies. Skill Requirements Proficient expertise in Azure Security and Palo Alto Firewall technologies. 7+ years of experience in Azure Security and Palo Alto Firewall technologies. Solid understanding of cloud security principles, architectures, and best practices. Hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory and its associated security features. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Azure Security Engineer Associate Certification (preferred). Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification (preferred). Previous experience with large-scale cloud environments or managed security services is an advantage.
