WE ARE HIRING Senior Executive - Procurement (Fresh) Locations: SPAR SL (PRIVATE) LIMITED Key Responsibilities: Manage procurement activities for allocated fresh product categories. Guide and lead Store Executives across relevant departments to achieve category objectives. Monitor supplier performance, fill rates, and product availability. Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable commercial terms. Drive category profitability through effective category management and merchandising. Manage promotions, supplier claims, and warehouse inventory performance. Conduct market research and category reviews to identify growth opportunities. Support strategic decision-making through timely reporting and analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and farmers. Minimum Requirements: G.C.E. O/L and A/L qualifications. Degree, Diploma, or professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement within a retail environment or a similar role. Strong IT proficiency, particularly in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Good communication skills in both Sinhala and English. Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
