Assistant Manager - Finance | Pannala Key Responsibilities Drive cost control and cost optimization initiatives across the fabric mill operations. Assist preparation and monitoring annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling financial projections. Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights on operational and financial performance. Oversee production costing and ensure accuracy of product cost information. Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and plant performance analysis for management review. Monitor and control CAPEX budgets, project expenditures, and capital investment reporting. Support inventory valuation, cost accounting, and factory performance analysis. Assist in profitability analysis, business planning, and decision-making processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and reporting requirements. Perform other management accounting and finance-related functions as assigned. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance or management accounting role. Prior experience in the apparel, textile, or manufacturing industry will be a distinct advantage. Full qualification with CIMA (UK) or CA Sri Lanka. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field from a recognized university. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, costing, and management reporting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
