Engineer - ATM & CRM Operations
Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLCJob Profile Maintain high ATM/CRM availability in line with organizational KPIs and SLAs. Improve diagnostics, remote patching, and software deployment; analyze recurring incidents, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions to minimize downtime. Monitor vendor SLA performance, identify underperforming vendors, escalate through appropriate vendor management levels, and drive corrective actions to restore service to the Bank’s expectations. Proactively identify obsolete/end-of-support operating systems, hardware, and terminal components; prepare upgrade, replacement, or remediation plans and execute them before support or compliance deadlines. Support the evaluation and implementation of new ATM/CRM features, security controls, and operational capabilities. Serve as the technical escalation point for critical incidents, outages, and complex or recurring ATM/CRM faults. Oversee terminal connectivity, switch responses, EJ retrieval, software/patch distribution, and cassette configurations. Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, EMV, regulatory requirements, and internal security controls covering HSM/key management, encryption, access control, and terminal hardening. Applicant’s Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) will be an added advantage. Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on technical experience in ATM and CRM hardware/software operations within a banking or financial technology environment. Proven experience in terminal monitoring systems, remote management tools, and electronic journal (EJ) retrieval software. Demonstrated track record of handling end-to-end incident management for ATM/CRM networks. Experience with advanced Cash Recycling Machine (CRM) integration, automated cash management systems, and anti-fraud monitoring platforms.
