Heavy Vehicle Driver McLarens Lubricants Ltd is looking to recruit a Heavy Vehicle Driver who can work responsibly, confidently and safely. Key Responsibilities Transporting goods on time and safely as per the instructions of the company management. Recording and updating the mileage of the vehicle accurately. Performing vehicle maintenance according to the prescribed schedule. Dealing with customers in a professional and friendly manner. Maintaining an organized travel plan. Keeping the vehicle ready to drive with adequate fuel and tire pressure at all times. Required Qualifications and Experience A valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License with at least 5 years of experience. Good knowledge of local and long distance roads, ability to optimize route plans and defensive driving skills. Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance (periodic services, preventive maintenance and basic repairs). Good physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads Intermediate reading and writing skills in Sinhala and English. Good verbal communication skills. Basic mathematical knowledge and ability to count accurately. Willingness to work in remote areas and work long hours when required.
