Manager - Banquet & Event Sales Are you an experienced Banquet & Event Sales with a strong network and a passion for generating business? We are looking for a dynamic, target-driven, and commercially minded individual to join a reputed hotel and contribute to the growth of its Banquet and Event Sales revenue. Compensation & Benefits Basic Salary: LKR 170,000-200,000 Service Charge: Approximately LKR 35,000 - 45,000 Accommodation: Provided for Male Candidates Key Responsibilities Drive sales for Weddings, Homecomings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Conferences, and other Functions. Generate new business opportunities and achieve monthly sales targets. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Event Planners, Corporate Clients, Wedding Planners, and other potential customers. Conduct client meetings, property visits, site inspections, and event discussions. Prepare quotations, negotiate event packages, and successfully close bookings. Coordinate with the Banquet, F&B, Kitchen, and Operations teams to ensure successful event execution. Follow up with prospective clients and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and opportunities to increase banquet revenue. Handle client requirements and resolve issues professionally before and during events. Maintain accurate sales pipelines, booking records, and sales reports. Requirements Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in Hotel, Hospitality, Banquet Sales, Event Sales, or a similar industry. Proven experience in handling and selling Weddings, Homecomings, Birthday Parties, and other Events/Functions. Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Target-oriented, proactive, and commercially minded. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
