Senior Administrator – CheckPoint PPC (Software) & Cloud Security Overview of the Role As a Senior Administrator – CheckPoint PPC (Software), Cloud Security, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, security, and seamless operation of our clients’ cloud and network environments. You will be responsible for advanced technical support, incident resolution, and continuous enhancement of perimeter security solutions, directly impacting the company’s capability to deliver secure, reliable, and compliant IT services. Detailed Responsibilities Provide advanced technical support for CheckPoint and Cisco ASA firewall solutions, including diagnosing complex incidents, conducting thorough root cause analyses, and implementing effective resolutions to security issues. Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact support tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely and clear communication with internal teams and clients. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance perimeter security solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Lead initiatives to update and manage the team’s knowledge base, develop training materials, and coach new analysts to elevate overall team performance. Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats, continuously improving incident response strategies and driving positive customer satisfaction (CSAT) outcomes. Maintain up-to-date documentation for all troubleshooting and security management activities, contributing to operational transparency and process improvement. Skill Requirements Proficiency in CheckPoint Firewall and Cisco ASA Firewall technologies. 7+ years of experience in CheckPoint PPC (Software) and Cloud Security. Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco IronPort, and Cisco Sourcefire IPS. Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and perimeter security solutions. In-depth knowledge of threat management systems and security incident response. Advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills for incident resolution and root cause analysis. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Demonstrated experience in firewall administration and technical support within enterprise environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams. Familiarity with knowledge management practices and technical training methodologies. Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security are highly desirable.
