Radiographer Requirements Obtained a degree recognized by the UGC in Radiography, Radiotherapy or Radiologic Technology OR Successful completion of two (02) year full-time Diploma in Radiology conducted by the Ministry of Health Successful completion of six (06) months Orientation and Co-ordination Course conducted by the Ministry of Health will be an added advantage In case of foreign degree holders, registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council is required Minimum one (01) year experience in a similar capacity will be an added advantage Ability to work on day and night shifts Responsibilities Perform X-ray and other radiographic imaging procedures as requested by medical officers Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety during imaging procedures Operate radiographic equipment efficiently and safely Maintain radiation protection standards for patients and staff Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and report faults Maintain accurate records of examinations performed Assist radiologists and medical staff when required Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
