Travel Agency Manager Job Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of travel consultants. Train and mentor staff to improve performance. Monitor daily operations and ensure efficiency. Sales & Customer Service: Handle airline ticketing, holiday packages, and travel services. Assist customers with travel inquiries and provide tailored solutions. Manage corporate and group bookings. Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with IATA regulations and travel industry policies. Handle GDS bookings, ticket issuance, cancellations, and refunds. Maintain relationships with airlines and travel partners. Business Development & Marketing: Develop strategies to increase sales and market share. Promote travel deals through digital marketing and social media. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships. Financial & Performance Management: Manage budgets, revenue targets, and operational expenses. Analyze sales reports and track key performance metrics. Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality. Job Requirements: Minimum Experience: At least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory role in a travel agency. System Knowledge: Proficiency in Amadeus GDS Industry Experience: Strong background in travel and tourism. Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and lead a team effectively. Customer Service: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Sales & Business Development: Experience in meeting sales targets and growing a customer base. Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with social media and online marketing strategies. Financial Awareness: Ability to handle pricing, commissions, and revenue management. Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling corporate travel accounts. Strong negotiation skills with airlines and travel partners. Knowledge of visa processing and travel documentation.
