Graphic Designer – Retail & E-commerce | Maharagama Job Purpose To create high-quality and visually engaging designs for retail promotions, e-commerce platforms, digital campaigns, in-store branding, and printed materials while maintaining the company’s brand identity and supporting marketing and sales objectives. Key Responsibilities Design promotional banners, price boards, leaflets, posters, flyers, and other retail marketing materials. Create website banners, product visuals, category images, digital advertisements, and e-commerce campaign creatives. Develop in-store branding and POSM, including shelf talkers, wobblers, standees, danglers, and signage. Prepare accurate print-ready artwork according to required dimensions, colors, and production specifications. Design content for social media, websites, email marketing, and digital campaigns. Edit, retouch, and optimize product images for print and digital use. Ensure all creative work follows the company’s brand guidelines. Coordinate with Marketing, E-commerce, Operations, and Printing teams to complete projects on time. Manage multiple design projects while maintaining quality and accuracy. Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, store promotions, and branding activities. Stay updated with current design trends and AI-powered creative tools. Perform other design-related duties assigned by management. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or professional qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of graphic design experience, preferably in Retail, FMCG, E-commerce, or Advertising. Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar design platforms. Knowledge of AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, or similar platforms. Good understanding of print production, colour management, typography, and layout design. Experience in designing promotional materials, POSM, price boards, banners, and e-commerce creatives. Basic photography, photo retouching, video editing, or motion graphics knowledge will be an added advantage. Strong creativity, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and time-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
