QA Manager

Join Melwire Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a leading Gl manufacturing organization, and play a key role in driving quality excellence, process improvement and customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and oversee all Quality Assurance activities. Ensure compliance with established quality standards, specifications and procedures. Monitor and control the quality of raw materials, production processes and finished products. Identify quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Conduct root-cause analysis and drive continuous quality improvements. Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) and related documentation. Coordinate internal and external quality audits. Monitor quality KPIs and prepare management reports. Work closely with Production, Engineering and other departments to resolve quality-related issues. Lead, develop and motivate the QA team. REQUIREMENTS Degree/Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering, Materials/Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or a related field. Professional qualification in Quality Management/ QA/QC will be an added advantage. 5-8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in GI / steel / metal manufacturing will be highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and Quality Management Systems. Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, 5S and Continuous Improvement. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
