TRANS GULF PVT LTDSenior Laboratory Technician | Saudi Arabia Industry: Seafood Processing Location: Saudi Arabia Salary Package Basic Salary: SAR 1,900 per month Food Allowance: SAR 400 per month Total Monthly Salary: SAR 2,300 Job Summary We are seeking experienced and skilled Senior Laboratory Technicians to join a leading seafood processing operation in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting laboratory analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting food safety and quality standards within the processing plant. Key Responsibilities Conduct timely sampling, laboratory analysis, and reporting in accordance with established procedures. Manage sampling and analysis requirements for approximately 80–150 birds per person per shift, as applicable to the production operation. Perform laboratory testing and ensure accurate and reliable results. Carry out equipment calibration and maintain laboratory instruments in proper working condition. Monitor and control laboratory consumables, reagents, and other required materials. Verify and release laboratory test results in accordance with quality control procedures. Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality control requirements. Identify and report any irregularities or non-conformities in laboratory results. Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams to support smooth plant operations. Follow all company policies, laboratory procedures, and workplace safety standards. Educational Qualifications Diploma in Laboratory Technology, Diploma in Chemistry, or a relevant laboratory-related qualification. Experience Required Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in one of the following industries: Food Processing Meat Processing Poultry Industry Seafood Processing Pharmaceutical Industry Similar laboratory or quality control environment Required Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of laboratory testing and analysis procedures. Experience in equipment calibration and laboratory consumables management. Ability to verify and release laboratory results accurately. Good understanding of food safety and quality control practices. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good organizational and reporting skills. Excellent spoken and written English. Working Environment Work will be carried out in a food processing plant and laboratory environment. Candidates must be willing to work in shifts and support production requirements. Ability to work in a cold store or chilled processing environment may be required.
