Government SectorSri Lanka Ayurvedic Drugs Corporation Ministry of Health and Mass Media Applications are invited from qualified internal and external applicants for recruitment to the following posts in the Sri Lanka Ayurvedic Drugs Corporation, established in 1969 under Government Gazette Extraordinary No. 14853/3 pursuant to the provisions of the State Industrial Corporations Act No. 49 of 1957. Driver - Primary Skilled Service Category (PL-3) – 03 Posts Qualifications External applicants Educational Qualifications: Passing in at least six (06) subjects with a minimum of two (02) credit passes at the G.C.E. (Ordinary Level) Examination in not more than two sittings. Proficiency: Holding a Class "D" driving license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic. Motor vehicle drivers having at least three (03) years of experience after obtaining the driving license. Internal Applicants: Holding a Class "D" heavy vehicle driving license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic. Motor vehicle drivers having at least three (03) years of experience after obtaining the driving license. AND Completion of five (05) years of satisfactory service in a Primary Semi-Skilled (PL-2) or Primary Unskilled (PL1) service category. Age: Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years. The maximum age limit is not applicable to internal applicants. Salary: PL 3 – Rs. 43,280 - 10 x 490 - 10 x 540 - 10 x 590 - 12 x 630 – 67,040/-. Initial salary step as of 01.01.2026: Rs. 40,834.00. Entitled to government-approved allowances and corporation allowances (Pursuant to Management Services Circular 01/2025). Initial salary entitlement as of 01.01.2026– Rs. 40,834/- Initial salary entitlement as of 01.01.2027– Rs. 43,280/- GENERAL CONDITIONS Every applicant: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka. Must possess physical and mental fitness required to perform the duties assigned to the post efficiently and to serve in any part of the island. Must be of excellent character. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT Recruitment will be made according to the scheme of recruitment of the Corporation through a structured / professional interview conducted by a Board of Interview appointed by the Appointing Authority. Appointees will contribute 8% of their salary to the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and the employer will contribute 12%. In addition, the employer will contribute an amount equivalent to 3% of the employee’s salary to the Employees' Trust Fund (ETF).
